Burning Barrel Spirits is a production distillery located in the heart of the Barrel District. Founded by the Alexander family — the same proprietors behind Burning Barrel Brewing Company, which opened in 2018 — we craft high-quality, artisan spirits that we are proud to stand behind. Our range includes grain-to-glass American Single Malt Whiskey and our award-winning Ghost Pine Gin, made with hand-foraged botanicals.
Led by Head Distiller Jack Alexander, our team honors traditional distillation methods while incorporating modern techniques to create truly one-of-a-kind spirits. We host limited bottle sales events throughout the year at the distillery, while our downtown Placerville location, Burning Barrel Brewing & Spirits, features our full spirits lineup in an inventive cocktail program open seven days a week.
