Rancho Cordova’s Barrel District Breweries Win at 2026 Brewers Cup of California
There’s plenty to celebrate in Rancho Cordova’s Barrel District! Our local brewing community is making its mark once again, with three of our own breweries earning top honors at the 2026 Brewers Cup of California. Cheers to Fort Rock Brewing Co., Burning Barrel Brewing Company, and Movement Brewing Co. for these impressive accomplishments!
If you’re not familiar, the Brewers Cup of California is the largest craft beer competition in the state, and ranks among the biggest in the country. Taking home a medal is a true mark of craftsmanship, creativity and dedication. We’re incredibly proud to see our Barrel District breweries recognized as some of the best breweries in the state!

Fort Rock Brewing Company
Fort Rock Brewing Co. received a Gold Medal for a customer favorite. It took home a Gold in the Fruit Beer category for “Raspberry Puree”.
Burning Barrel Brewing Company
Burning Barrel continues to impress with their bold and inventive creations. This year, they took home a Gold Medal in the Chocolate Beer category for “Burning Belsnickel.”
Movement Brewing Company
Movement Brewing Co. earned multiple medals across distinct styles. “Clownfish Mafia” led the way with a Gold in the American India Pale Lager category, while “Uncle Money” earned Silver in the Kellerbier/Zwickelbier category and “Hamilton” brought home Bronze for New Zealand IPAs.
